| Ben-Gurion University requires that all students carry comprehensive medical insurance. Regardless of any other coverage, the university requires that all students be covered by the Harel Insurance Company. This insurance offers a comprehensive health insurance policy specially designed for overseas students. Students must disclose all pre-existing medical problems. The Israeli general policy does not cover pre-existing conditions. If you have a pre-existing condition, coverage may be arranged in advance. For specific information about this please contact Mr. Amos Gilboa at y_health@yedidim.co.il The policy is affiliated with Kupat Holim Clalit, Israel 's largest system of medical clinics, that has a clinic on campus. The policy covers expenses for visits to the doctors' offices, medication, doctor-requested medical tests, and full hospitalization billing is done directly by the medical server to the insurance company. The Israeli policy is valid only in Israel , but offers additional health insurance coverage for travel outside of Israel . There is no deductable. There is a Kupat Holim Clalit health clinic here in the university on the second floor of the student center and the Harel insurance allows you to walk in without an appointment and see a doctor.

Another clinic is Wingate Clinic, it's near the dorm behind the h osp ital on Hana Senesh st. 3.

- Sundays and Thursdays 7:30-13:00 and 16:00-17:00
- Mondays and wedensdays 7:30-13:00
- Tuesdays 7:30-16:00 (Doctors until 12:00)
An English speaking doctor is available at Wingate clinic:
- Sundays and Thursday 8:00-12:00 and 16:00-19:00
- Monday and Tuesday 8:00-13:00 Friday 8:00-12:00
